We are heading forward to achieve our ambitions and reach our goals. Therefore we need a: Decisive, result driven Transaction Manager to coordinate our complex transaction processes across multiple disciplines. Location: Amsterdam office.
In this important and challenging role, your responsibilities include, but are not limited to, oversight of the entire transaction process from development of the acquisition lead through investment proposals and legal documentation to approval, delivery and the close out process. As seasoned professional you will also serve as the in-house expert collaborating with our external advisors (e.g. lawyers, tax advisors). The legal part of the transaction process will be your own focus. To be able to succeed in the acquisition team and the company you need to bring in motivation, energy and personality.
Manage and (co-)execute transaction processes, mainly acquisition of real estate projects and their external funding
Assist in negotiations with sellers, government institutions, construction companies, lenders, external advisors and the internal organization
Assess, review and draw up of legal documentation, (building) permits, deeds of division, finance agreements
Perform feasibility studies and due diligence
Work closely with CEO, Development Director, CFRO, development managers and acquisition-analyst (internal organization) and external lawyers, tax advisors and brokers
Compile and deliver investment proposals and presentations for Board of Directors and Investment Committees for obtaining approval
Being an advisor for the board of directors and sparring partner for your commercial and building expert colleagues means that you are a strong personality, an expert in your field of work and a committed team player
Academic level (LL.M.) in real estate or notarial law
Plus 5 years’ experience as transaction manager, real estate lawyer or (candidate) civil-law notary
Experience with project development, building permit procedures, complex legal documentation (e.g. transfer deeds, investment and financing agreements)
Excellent communication skills
