Research Analyst (m/f)
Job description The Research Analyst will be joining a real estate company in Amsterdam which is part of a German real estate group. You will have the opportunity to be working directly with Fund Manager and Chief Financial and Risk Officer of development on a daily basis. Reviews and evaluates data results collected by themselves and others within the research team to ensure accuracy and comprehensiveness of research data and analysis
Provides research support for pitches, presentations, internal and client meetings
Performs regular maintenance and updates to property databases by conducting telephone surveys, on-site surveys, research forums, broker meetings, extracting data from brochures and other marketing materials, contacting civic organizations, outside agents, internet, and other sources
Responsible for writing regular financial reports and other written outputs
Analyze market trends and incorporate findings into presentations, reports and white papers.
Responds to ad hoc internal client requests for data, graphs, commentary, search for information at Kadaster and Chamber of Commerce, etc.
Supporting the development director with scanning interesting locations and provide information about the sites
Preparing acquisition can also be part of your duties, a real estate background is a must
Your profile and competencies
Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university, preferably in Real Estate, Economics, Finance, Geography, and a minimum of one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to effectively present information
Requires knowledge of financial terms and principles
Conducts basic financial analysis
Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret documents and summarize graphically and in writing
Ability to handle and manipulate large amounts of data
Very good analytical skills and likes to work with numbers
Excellent planning and organization skills
Strong ability to work independent and a self-starter
Business fluent in English and Dutch, German is a plus
Flexible and service oriented
Very good MS Office skills including good excel modelling skills
